2.2 Analysis
The data shows a volatile period characterized by significant price fluctuations and varying volume. From December 3rd to December 10th there s a clear upward trend with high trading volume suggesting strong buying pressure culminating in a potential peak around December 9th and 10th. Following this peak there was a sharp correction from December 10th to December 19th alongside declining volume indicating a weakening of that prior bullish sentiment. December 19th marks another potential bottom where there is a large buying volume. The period from December 19th to December 25th shows some recovery with increasing trading volume indicating buying enthusiasm. Subsequent days from December 26th to December 28th showcase a significant decline in both price and volume signaling selling pressure however December 29th and 30th saw some minimal price recovery. The last two days of the data December 31st and January 1st present a slight increase in price and a decreased volume that is a continuation of the overall consolidation. The entire month of December has been a volatile period with a large spread between the high and low values in each day meaning there will be some price uncertainty moving forward. The most recent date January 1st shows a small increase from the previous day while also having low volume suggesting a possible lack of conviction in any particular direction. The long term trend is uncertain and could be entering into a new consolidative period given the recent lower volatility.
